This Privacy Policy describes how ASK TRADE INC ("ASK TRADE INC," "Mauviela," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the Mauviela brand at mauviela.com, collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from our website, or otherwise communicate with us. Mauviela is a brand operated by ASK TRADE INC.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using or accessing our website (the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described below.

If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

1. Information we collect

We collect information about you in three main ways: information you provide to us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from third parties.

1.1 Information you provide directly

You may provide the following types of personal information when you interact with the Services:

- Account and checkout information: name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and the payment information you submit at checkout. Payment card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not directly stored by ASK TRADE INC.
- Order information: items purchased, order total, order date, and the shipping method you select.
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, optional order number, and the message you send.
- Email subscriptions: the email address you provide when you subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise opt in to receive marketing.

- To detect and prevent fraud. We use your information to authenticate you, secure the Services, identify and investigate suspicious or fraudulent activity, and protect ASK TRADE INC, our customers, and other third parties.
- To analyze and improve the Services. We use information about how visitors use the Services to understand usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance, content, and customer experience.
- To comply with legal obligations. We use your information as necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to lawful requests from government authorities, and enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements.

4. How we share personal information

ASK TRADE INC does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients in connection with the operation of our business:

- Our ecommerce platform provider (Shopify), which hosts the Services and processes information you submit through the website. Information you submit will be transmitted to Shopify, which acts as our service provider and may also process certain information for its own purposes as described in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
- Our payment processor, which processes the payment information you submit at checkout. ASK TRADE INC does not directly store full payment card numbers.
- Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx), which receive the shipping information necessary to deliver your order.
- Analytics and advertising service providers, where configured, which receive information about your interaction with the Services to help us understand audience behavior, measure marketing performance, and (where applicable) deliver advertising. See Section 5.
- Email marketing service providers, where applicable, which receive your email address and engagement data to deliver subscription emails on our behalf.
- Other service providers acting on our behalf, including IT and hosting providers, fraud-prevention providers, and customer support providers, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Government authorities and other parties, as required by law or as necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of ASK TRADE INC, our customers, or other third parties, including in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
- Other parties with your direction or consent.

Depending on the configuration of analytics and advertising tools that may be in use on the Services, certain data sharing with those tools may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. See Section 10 for how to opt out.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Services use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage) for the following purposes:

- Essential operations: enabling core website functionality, including the shopping cart, checkout, login session, and security features. These technologies are required for the Services to function.
- Preferences: remembering your settings, language, and other preferences.
- Analytics: understanding how visitors use the Services so we can measure performance and improve the experience.
- Advertising and marketing, where configured: supporting marketing measurement and (in some cases) the delivery of relevant advertisements on the Services or on third-party websites.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including by blocking or deleting cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the availability or functionality of certain features of the Services, including checkout.

6. Marketing communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise opt in to receive marketing communications, we may send you marketing emails about new products, promotions, and other updates from Mauviela.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

- Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email; or
- Emailing support@mauviela.com with a request to be removed from our marketing list.

If you opt out of marketing communications, we will continue to send you transactional and service-related messages necessary to fulfill your orders or respond to your inquiries (for example, order confirmations, shipping notifications, and customer support replies).

Marketing emails sent by ASK TRADE INC include the sender's identity and a postal mailing address in the email footer, consistent with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.

7. Categories of personal information collected (California disclosure)

For the twelve months preceding the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy, ASK TRADE INC may have collected the following categories of personal information, broadly aligned with the categories defined under California privacy law. The specific information collected depends on how you interact with the Services.

- Identifiers, such as name, email address, postal address, IP address, and account identifiers.
- Customer records, such as billing and shipping information, payment information (handled by our payment processor), and other information you provide as part of an order or account.
- Commercial information, such as products and services purchased or considered, transaction history, and other information related to your purchases or interactions with the Services.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing and usage information collected automatically through the Services.
- Geolocation data in approximate form, such as the general region inferred from your IP address.
- Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information that you submit to us, such as photos you provide in connection with a damaged-item return claim.
- Inferences drawn from any of the above to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, or trends.

We collect these categories from the sources described in Section 2 and use them for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 3. We share these categories with the recipients described in Section 4.

We do not knowingly collect or process sensitive personal information beyond the financial account information necessary to process payments, which is handled by our payment processor and not directly stored by ASK TRADE INC.

8. California consumer rights

If you are a California resident, applicable California law may grant you the following rights with respect to your personal information. Some rights may apply only in certain circumstances and may be subject to verification or other limitations under applicable law.

- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 10.
- Right to non-discrimination: you may exercise the rights described above without receiving discriminatory treatment for doing so.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9. How to exercise your rights

- A description of the right you wish to exercise (for example, "I would like to delete my personal information").
- Sufficient information to allow us to verify your identity. For account holders, this typically means using the email address associated with your account.

We will respond to your request within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we may decline a request as permitted by law (for example, where information is needed to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or detect or prevent fraud).

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may also require you to verify your identity directly with us.

10. "Do Not Sell or Share" my personal information; Global Privacy Control

ASK TRADE INC does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Depending on the configuration of analytics and advertising tools that may be in use on the Services, certain data sharing with those tools may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out of any such sharing, you may:

- Send the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal from your browser. If you visit the Services with a browser that transmits the GPC signal, we will treat that signal as a request to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising for the device and browser sending the signal, where applicable under California law.
- Email support@mauviela.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and the device or browser information necessary for us to honor your request.

We do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" browser signals.

11. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, or under the age of 16 in jurisdictions where that threshold applies under applicable law. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@mauviela.com to request deletion.

12. Location of processing and international users

ASK TRADE INC operates from California, United States, and the Services are hosted on infrastructure located in the United States. Personal information you submit through the Services will be transmitted to and processed in the United States.

The Services are intended for customers within the contiguous United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

13. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

- Provide the Services to you and complete your transactions;
- Maintain account records, order records, and customer support records for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting, consumer protection, and other laws;
- Resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights;
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

When personal information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete or de-identify it in accordance with our internal retention practices and applicable law.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials you create and for limiting access to your devices.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.

15. Third-party websites and links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not owned or controlled by ASK TRADE INC. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or terms of any third-party website or service. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other operational reasons. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this Privacy Policy reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
